Tackling poverty
We fund organisations that are based in neighbourhoods at the top of the Index of Multiple Deprivation / Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation. From tackling digital poverty to providing affordable food, they are working to move people out of poverty and develop long-term sustainable solutions.
Community anchors
Community anchor organisations play a vital, practical role in reducing the impact of poverty on local neighbourhoods and helping to tackle digital exclusion. They work with a broad cross section of the community to make change happen and provide people with a wide range of activities to get involved with and ways to participate.
Purposeful people
Our work is supercharged by Virgin Money Colleagues who donate significant time helping our funded charities, community groups and change makers.
